We are pleased to announce that Weihua has successfully completed the erection of a 450t shipbuilding gantry crane designed and manufactured for Wuhu Shipyard. This impressive crane features a span of 92m, a rated lifting weight of 450t, and a rated turning weight of 300t, making it highly suitable for turning and closing ship hulls. In addition, this crane has a number of valuable functionalities such as lifting, turning over and lifting sections in the air. One of the key characteristics of this crane involves its highly sophisticated design. During the design phase, we employed advanced software (ANSYS) to simulate and analyze various usage conditions of the product, adjust the bearing stress, and ensure it possesses additional capabilities such as wind resistance, earthquake resistance, collision resistance, and anti-overturning capabilities.
Moreover, the lifting drum of this crane features a double-layer parallel winding structure and an additional rope guide to prevent steel wire rope from jumping due to excessive deviation during lifting, ensuring safe operation. This crane also makes use of a variable frequency electrical control system for each institution, which has loads of features such as load balancing, high-precision positioning, and automatic correction of supporting legs. This functionality ensures it can easily handle different situations such as multiple lifting hooks lifting simultaneously, or independent lifting of a single hook. 
Last but not least, this crane also comes equipped with a safety monitoring system that features various functions such as task and operational parameter management, status monitoring, recording, tracing, alarm information sound, and image display. The gantry crane also features elevators and emergency walkways to ensure that drivers and maintenance personnel can easily access the driver's cab, high and low control rooms, and the upper part of the main beam through escalators or elevators, making it highly convenient for entry and exit.
